Painting with a Twist is a fun art studio for anyone interested in painting! In our classes we use acrylic paints on 16x20 inch canvas (unless another surface/size is listed) and teach the class step by step how to complete the specific painting for the day. Most of our guests have no painting experience and all of them have great success!

We have an Event Calendar that displays the specific painting we will be teaching and at what date and time. If you see a painting you like and it's scheduled on a day you can attend you can go ahead and make a reservation online or call the studio during office hours to reserve by phone. The artist instructor will guide the whole class on how to complete the specific painting. Bring your drinks to enjoy during class if you would like.

2hr classes are $39-$48 per person depending on the surface. 3hr classes are $49-$59 per person depending on the surface. Paint Your Pet classes are $59 per person If you are signing up for a couples class you have to pay for two seats, the price is per person.

We will provide step by step instructions for the scheduled painting. If you want to do your own thing, go for it! But there will not be step by step guidance on how to complete it.

For private parties you have 30 minutes before and after the scheduled paint time included for people to arrive and wrap up. There is typically one to two short dry breaks which depend on the painting. Example for a 7-9pm party: Arrival 6:30pm-7pm. Painting instruction from 7-9pm with short dry break. You have the room until 9:30pm.

Option 1: Select the number of seats you wnat to reserve for the specific class online and pay online. Option 2: Ask everyone in your group to reserve individually online and to specify a group name or point person in the "Special Requests" box, such as "Dell group" or "Sarah's birthday group."

Advance payment is required for all reservations. Some classes sell out. Also, if there are not any reservations for a class, we may cancel the class or switch the painting. We set up a painting station for each person. Please make a reservation so we can set up for you and have you seated appropriately with your group if you are joining one.

We try to provide a combination of old favorites and new paintings on each calendar. If thes is a painting you really want to see on the next calendar, email us at studio068@paintingwithatwist.com and we might be able to accommodate your request. We have many paintings that we rotate through. We love to hear what your requests are.

Drinks and snacks are welcome! You can bring in any alcoholic or non alcoholic beverage to enjoy during class. We provide plastic 9oz cups, plates, napkins and bottle openers, but please bring ice and/or utensils if needed. Coolers are welcome. Must be 21 and older to consume alcohol.

We hold classes at specific times and those are the only times guests can come in and paint. to join a class, please review our In-studio events, select a painting you like and register online or call us to reserve by phone with a creidt card number.

Our classes are intended to be an adult getaway to relax an have time to themselves or socialoze with their friends. We allow ages 10 and up to our most classes with the exception of Friday and Saturday nights being for Ages 18+. Younger kids are welcome to attend classes that are labeled "All Ages". We can do private parties for kids such as a birthday party. See Party Info for more details on that.

Yes, if there are damp places we have hair dryers which will dry them quickly.

Wear something comfortable that you don't mind if a little paint gets on it. We do supply aprons, but if you by chance get paint on your clothes and it drys, it will not come out. If you catch it while it is still wet you can usually get it out with some soap and water.

We paint on a variety of surfaces. The majority of our classes use a 16 x 20 inch canvas. We also offer classes using 16x20 wood plank, 10x30 canvas, 10.5x26 wood plank, 17" Shiplap, 10.5x47 wood porch leaner. 12x12 canvas and 11x14 canvas.

Arrive 10-15 minutes early to get uncorked, smocked, & in your seat! Painting will begin promptly at the time listed. If you are late to class, you may not be allowed to paint and forfeit your payment . Painting With a Twist is more than just a painting, it's a step-by-step experience! Arriving late to your session will not allow you or your fellow classmates the best possible experience.

Our 24hr cancellation policy is strongly enforced. If canceling with less than 24hrs notice a store credit may be issued.
