Painting with a Twist is a fun art studio for anyone interested in painting! In our classes, we use acrylic paints on a variety of surfaces (canvases, wood boards, porch leaners, and shiplap) and teach the class step by step through the specific painting of the day. Most of our guests have no painting experience, and all of them have great success!

Are we allowed to bring in beverages and food?
Our studio is licensed to sell beer and wine. In accordance with our license, outside alcohol is not permitted . We offer a rotating selection of beer, seltzers, single-serve wine, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks to enjoy during class.

Do I need to bring anything with me to paint?
Your reservation fee includes everything you need to create a beautiful and unique painting! When you arrive, you are supplied with an apron, canvas, brushes, paints and step-by-step art instruction throughout the class! When class is done, your artwork is ready to hang! The only thing you may want to bring are some refreshments.

Can my child come with me to paint?
To create the best experience for all guests, Painting with a Twist offers different class types designed for different age groups. Sunday–Wednesday public classes are designed for guests ages 13+. Family Day classes are designed for adults and children ages 6+, with a slower pace and simplified instruction so families can paint together. We encourage caregivers to use their best judgment when registering. If a child enjoys guided activities and can stay engaged for most of a 60–90 minute class, they are likely to have a great experience. Weekend daytime classes are open to guests ages 13+ when accompanied by an adult. Thursday–Saturday evening classes are designed for adults and are limited to guests ages 18+ to maintain the intended pace and environment. DIY Pop-In & Paint Hours are open to all ages! Younger painters may participate, but children under age 6 will need hands-on assistance from an accompanying adult.

Can my friends come and watch us without painting?
Everyone needs a paid seat to stay on premises during all classes. (Private parties have exceptions)

What is your class and reservation policy?
Arrival & Late Arrival Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time to allow for check-in and preparation.
