Erin Horender
Erin is a self-taught artist and has been drawing and painting ever since she was old enough to hold a crayon. Her other passion is wildlife conservation, and she has a degree in Wildlife Biology from SUNY Cobleskill. Her favorite subjects to paint are animals of all kinds, and before she decided to focus more exclusively on art, she worked at several zoos and nature centers in environmental education. When it comes to her painting classes, she likes to keep it fun, educational, and informal. She also enjoys writing short stories and novels, and currently lives in New Hartford, NY with her husband and their unusual menagerie of critters: a cat, a crested gecko and four snakes!
Fran W.
Fran has an education and background in graphic design, dance and theater costuming and is also a professional award-winning party clown, face painter and balloon twister. Art and creativity are part of her daily life and she expresses that through interior design, fashion and her love of detail and DIY projects. She is energized by color and brushstrokes and enjoys working with beginners and children the most. She lives in Schuyler with her husband, kids, four cats and a dog. She is over the moon to be with the Painting with a Twist family and looks forward to all the FUN!
