Do I need to pay before the class, or can I pay when I arrive?
Yes! Because we are operating at a limited capacity, only paid guest reservations are guaranteed seats in our classes. View our calendar of events here.
Can someone that is not painting join me?
No, observers are not permitted to attend. Every guest that enters our studio will need a paid reservation.
Do you offer group rates or discounts?
Our prices are already based on group rates so that everyone gets to enjoy our great prices whether coming in a group or by yourself! We do have a Paint Points rewards program to reward our loyal guests.
Can I paint whatever I want?
We will provide step by step instructions for the scheduled painting only. If you want to do your own thing, go for it! Let us know if you need any additional paint colors. We love creativity!
How do I join a class?
Simply visit our calendar, click on the title of the painting class you want to join and follow the simple payment process.
How do I sign up a group to attend a class?
Option 1: Select the number of seats you want to reserve for the specific class online and pay online.
Option 2: Ask everyone in your group to reserve individually online and to specify group name or point person in the "Special Requests" box.
What are the prices of the classes?
Depending on surface selected, our 2-hour adult classes start at $37 per person, 3-hour classes start at $47 per person, and all ages 1.5-hour classes start at $28. Custom Art classes start at $57 per painter. (All art supplies included)
Can we bring anything other than wine?
Beer or wine and snacks are allowed! We provide corkscrews and wine cups for your use. Las Fontanas Mexican Kitchen is in our shopping center and they will walk food down to the studio for you if you order to-go. Contact Las Fontanas at 830-626-3310.

What is the difference between a Twist at Home Painting kit and a Virtual Live Painting Event?
Twist at Home kits come with their own list of painting options. You can find all Twist at Home options here. All kits come with supplies needed to complete your painting and detailed written instructions. Some paintings even come with a Vimeo link to view a recorded video tutorial. Once you purchase your kit online, please allow us 24 hours to build your kit and contact you to schedule a pickup time.
Virtual Live Events are taught live via Zoom. Painting kits are picked up at our studio or shipped to your guests prior to the event. You will receive an emailed Zoom event invitation 24 hours prior to your event. Book a private Virtual Event here.
Do we get to take our painting home that day?
Yes! We finish the painting within the time designated and it is ready to hang by the time you get home! *Paint Pour event paintings may be picked up 72 hour after the event to allow time to dry.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards may be purchased online or we have plastic gift cards available to purchase in-studio. Gift cards do not expire, are available for any amount and are non-refundable. Gift cards may be used at any Painting with a Twist nationwide.
Do you offer kids classes?
Yes, we recommend a minimum age of 6 to be able to complete the paintings on their own. Please look for ages allowed in each event title on our calendar. Or, book a Private (12 painters) or Public (6 painters) kids party if you would like to pick the painting. Book a party here.
Do you offer Offsite parties?
We can come to you! We have a 20-person minimum for an offsite event. See our Party Info page to submit your party request.
