Rebekah
“Hiya from Rebekah! She is an East Nashville native and cookie dough enthusiast! Rebekah has lived a few lives as an artist, singer, actor, and cognitive intervention specialist. Her art journey began with acrylic paint in middle school; since then, she has gotten to teach in South Korea, NYC, Louisville, and of course, Nashville! She LOVES helping to inspire hopeful artists at any and all points of their art journey. When not at the studio, she’s at one of her other gigs: medical acting at Vanderbilt, scriptwriting for children’s theatre, and teaching over Zoom. And when she’s not working, she’s making music, listening to Selena (y Los Dinos), and learning ASL! ??”

Brooke
Hello! My name is Brooke Hammond and I am an Artist here at Painting with a Twist! I started creating art during my freshman year in high school and have loved it ever since! I enjoy doing all types of artwork, but my favorite type to create is surrealist art! I love being able to take a piece of realistic artwork and put a dream-like spin onto it. Outside of painting, I am also a karate instructor! I am a second- degree black belt, and have been doing karate for 11 years, and helping/ teaching for 5 years. I have the opportunity to teach all sorts of people the art of karate and help them enjoy it along the way. My karate instructing experience definitely helps me as an Art instructor here at painting with a Twist. With both of these passions/ hobbies, I get the opportunity to help people make wonderful memories while also still learning a skill, just as I intend to do at every PWAT class that I teach!
