I was born in Orlando, Florida in 1987. Art was an interest to me early on. An elementary school teacher sparked my passion for art when she taught the class how to draw a bowl of fruit. It amazed me to see the oranges become three dimensional, and to create imaginary places. I work in a variety of media, but prefer to create large scale paintings in acrylic. I received my BFA with honors in 2010, concentrating in painting and drawing from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. After graduating, I moved back home to Brevard, where I have taught summer art classes at the Brevard Art Museum. I am currently working on a large scale body of work, and developing my technical ability. Interesting Fact: I have a black belt in Shorinji-Ryu Karate.
