Courtney Calato is so excited to join the Painting With a Twist team! With the power of coffee and an iron will, she graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a BFA in theatrical performance. Since then she’s been working as a professional stunt performer and fight director, but has been missing her days doing scenic design. When not in the studio, she’s probably working on a sassy cross stitch and doting on her dog Gracie.
Terri was born in Gulfport, MS and has lived in Louisiana since she was 10 years old. Terri has always been interested in art and as a very young child would spend hours creating pencil sketches of horses. Terri attended Art Institute of Houston and graduated with a degree in graphic design. Terri spent a number of years in Houston creating print patters for a clothing manufacturer. Eventually, Terri moved back to Louisiana and worked as an artist for a local screen printing company. As life happened, Terri took a job as a paralegal for many years, but focused on photography during that time. At last, in 2019, Terri was able to find her way pack to her passion. She has a studio in her home where she produces many different types of art. Art is always on her mind and it shows in the diversity of her body of work.
