Q: What are the prices for a class?
A: The price for a 2 hour class starts at $37.00. The price for a 3 hour class starts at $47.00. We also have custom classes that are $55 and up.
Q: When do you post a new monthly schedule?
A: The calendar is posted on the 1st of every month.
Q: Will my painting be dry by the end of the night?
A: Yes, if there are a few damp places we will have hair dryers which will dry them quickly.
Q: At what time should I arrive for class?
A: 10-15 minutes would be plenty of lead time.
Q: Do you do reserved seating?
A: Yes
Q: Will you have wine openers and cups?
A: Yes, we supply wine openers and cups.
Q: Since it is around dinner, can we bring food?
A: Yes, feel free to bring in a snack.
Q: What do I wear?
A: What ever is comfortable and you don't mind if a little paint gets on it. We will have aprons for you if you need them.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: We prefer that you make a reservation either online, by phone, and we do request seats to be paid for, prior to the session. We require a 24 hour cancellation to receive a full refund minus a $5 service charge. All payments for online reservations are processed at the time the reservation is made. Except for reservations made online, Credit cards are used to hold the reservations, but seats are NOT GUARANTEED unless payment is made IN ADVANCE. If we have a no show/no cancellation, then the credit card that holds the reservation will be charged. IF PAYING CASH, PLEASE BRING EXACT AMOUNT DUE. WE DO NOT KEEP CHANGE IN THE STUDIO.
Q: Do you do private parties?
A: Yes, we offer parties for both children and adults. We have two rooms that can accommodate up to twenty people or more.
Q: What size is the canvas?
A: We use a 16 x 20 inch canvas.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Yes, the age limit is 16 years old to attend a regular adult session. Please note that it is the law that you have to be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages.
Q: Can children under 16 years old paint?
A: Yes. Kid-Friendly, Teen-Friendly, and Family Days are offered for the younger crowd. Please check our calendar for those dates/times. Private Parties are also another avenue to accommodate younger children. Again, please know that adult supervision is always required for children under the age of 8.
Q: How does our Canvas Buy-Back Program work?
A: The next time you make a paid reservation for a class in our studio, bring up to five of your previously painted PWAT canvases, and we will give you a $5 gift certificate value for each one. That means you can earn up to a $25 gift certificate! Only Painting with a Twist paintings qualify; however, they could have been painted at any Painting with a Twist location. Please note you cannot use this gift certificate to pay for a class on the same day you are turning in your canvases.
Q: What do we do with the used canvases that we buy back?
A: These canvases will be painted over with white so they can be reused either as a donation to a local art school or by our artists for their example paintings.
