Hello!! Thank you for visiting this bio page and Painting with a Twist! I am a Lancaster native and been an artist my entire life. What a great opportunity it is to share its creative rewards with you! My formal art education is from York Academy of Arts. I enjoy all things creative and crafty, including painting. I love making jewelry using various methods and materials including metal/wire, bead work and weaving. In my free time I enjoy quilting, embroidery, crochet and knitting. I am a wife, mother of 2 boys and also work as a Paraprofessional in a kindergarten class and have over 14 years experience in childcare.

Hello! I’m Amy, and I’m super excited to be a part of the Painting with a Twist family! I was born and raised here in Lancaster County, in a small town you’ve probably never heard of, Mt. Nebo. From the first time I held a crayon (and drew all over my mothers kitchen cabinets) I knew I was meant to be an artist! I fell in love with painting, and would paint anything from weird alien creatures I dreamt up, to flowers I picked along the roadside. Now here we are, many years and four amazingly awesome kids later, I am painting nearly every day out of my home studio and am enjoying life as a busy mom and freelance artist. While I seldomly paint any weird alien creatures in my adult years, I now love to paint landscapes, flowers, portraits, wildlife, and even an occasional abstract piece.
