Lexi

Hi my name is Lexi and I have found myself being an artist in so many different ways since I was little never were my clothes clean I was in Clay I was in dirt I was in mud climbing over everything finding the best way to get to the tallest rock and the top tree branch. Art has been such an important part of my life and I am so happy to be able to share it with everyone. I love sewing I love drawing painting is a little new to me but I’m here for it and I’m excited to be able to learn and teach you. Art allows creativity with minimal rules and it’s just what I need to feel less lack of control. Art is meant for all ages and people to share and enjoy.

Artist, Husband, and Father to be. I have been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil and for the past few years made the transition to brush. My first experience of live painting, I was camping on a dried up lakebed in the desert with music and friends. It was 3:00am and people were still dancing. Ice was starting to blanket the cars parked around the campsite. I was cold and a bit hungry but a fire of inspiration hit me and painting became the fuel. The excitement and interactions with friends kept me warm and focused and before the music stopped playing, I had completed my first piece ever. Painting with a Twist has given me the opportunity to help practice and share my passion with you. Join us for fun art and good times!

Hello gals and pals! My name is Joy and I am so happy to have the chance to guide you to artistic awesomeness. I recently got married, got my dream job of teaching, and yet something was still missing. Then I realized what it was, art. I grew up around strong women who loved to spend time creating beautiful things. And I learned to do so many things from them. The biggest thing I learned was that everyone needs to take a break from their everyday to express themselves through one art form or another. I personally prefer painting. I love painting almost anything, but my favorites have got to be landscapes and flowers. Recently have been working on recreated the Hunted Mansion collection from Disneyland. I love that Painting with a Twist guides people to their artistic side and makes it easy to show off the amazing painter within. And I cannot wait to be that guide for you. So, grab a drink and let's get painting! Thank you so much, Joy

I've enjoyed art from a young age, filling up school notebooks and blank sheets of paper with doodles and little sketches. In years as early as elementary school, I had already been awarded "Most Artistic". Yet, it wasn't until late middle school when I began to take my talent serious. Starting highschool I began to branch out to different mediums like charcoal, oil pastels and oil paints, although my preferences today are graphite and acrylics. I'm currently attending community college working toward an Associates Degree in Art History. Afterward, I plan to further my education at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, Illinois.

Hi everyone. My name is Tina. I was born and raised in the So Cal area. I've been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. I enjoy all forms of art, but painting is definitely my favorite. Although I love working in oil, currently, most of my work is in acrylic. Lately, I've been exploring with mixed media pieces, however, landscapes, portraits, and/or abstracts will always be among my preferred subject matter. I'm so glad to have the opportunity to share my love of painting with new friends. So come join us and enjoy your own creative experience in a fun and friendly environment!
