Elizabeth has been painting and drawing since she can remember. She was born and raised in NY and moved to the Carolinas when she was 12 years old. As a child, she loved drawing pictures of her pets and sketching pictures from her National Geographic magazines. She preferred watching Bob Ross over Saturday morning cartoons. My name is Loren, and I have an Associate in Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Painting. I have loved art since I was a little girl and I have always dreamed of being an artist. I love all forms of art from painting to graphic design. I do photography on the side in my free time and I love working with new people and showing them how fun art can be! I have dreams of traveling all around the world. I have traveled to Paris and Barcelona where I got to see some of the most iconic pieces of art such as the Mona Lisa. My all time favorite artists are Vincent Van Gogh, Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Colleen has found Charlotte to be her forever home. Her passion for art and painting has been passed down from watching her mother do china painting. Colleen has also started to pass her skills to her youngest daughter to keep china painting a family tradition!!!
I was born in Tijuana, Mexico. I am a self taught artist and have been painting and drawing since I learned to grab a pencil. I love all kinds of art including, dance, photography and graphic design. My goal is to help others discover the importance of art in our everyday life.
Hi! I have always had a passion for the arts. I grew up in the hills of Pittsburgh, but have been a transplanted Southerner for over 25 years. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Minor in Art History and even studied overseas as an honors student. Before all of that, I attended the Governor’s School for the Arts in Greenville SC. My inspiration, comes mostly from nature – I love all the textures and movement you can find simply by going outside. Art is everywhere for me. You can see it in my yard, my home, my car and even in my personality. After holding Art Director positions in Advertising/Marketing for many years, I decided I wanted to get back to my roots – Fine Art. I make and design shirts, jewelry and of course paint as much as I can. I love to teach and share what makes me happy with others – in fact, I am also a Jazzercise Instructor. Don’t be surprised if I break out into a dance move or two in class. ?? I look forward to painting with you!
