Al

Al has lived in Hampton, Virginia, for nearly his entire life. Since a little kid, he has always had an interest in art. As he grew up, he became an avid Bob Ross enthusiast and started to take his little hobby a bit more seriously. Al enjoys drawing and painting with different mediums, designing, and even making houses within video games. Oddly enough, while currently attending Old Dominion University for Game Design and Development, Al has made designing houses in video games and art more than just a hobby. Besides video game design and art, he is interested in anime, horror movies, music, comics, and quoting old vines. As one of PWAT's artists, Al is here to share his passion with everyone while creating a fun and exciting environment.

Chloe

My name is Chloe, and I am from Chesapeake, Virginia. Since I was a young child, I have been gifted with a creative thought process to produce artworks. My signature style of painting includes texture and vivid colors that directly reflect my charismatic personality. Some of my artistic accomplishments include creating murals, joining local artists with fulfilling their murals and getting involved in art shows. Currently, I am a Fine Arts student at the wonderful HBCU, Norfolk State University, and my career path is Art Therapy. My hobbies include visiting museums, thrifting, working out, writing poetry, and having constant self-care days. Fun fact, I am a left-handed artist! As a PWAT instructor, I want to engage with the crowd by not only making it fun but by creating a stress-relieving session that connects each participant to their masterpiece.

Kristen

Kristen is new to Virginia, originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She lived in Muskogee, Oklahoma, for the past three years, putting her degree to use. Although Kristen loves her main job, art has always been her passion. She has created art with her mom as a hobby since she could barely hold a paintbrush. She uses mediums such as acrylic paint, airbrush, pen and pencil, and a few others to create her masterpieces. Kristen loves art and is excited to get to share that passion with each of you.

Krysten

Krysten is a Virginia native who's passion now has a place to bloom at Painting with a Twist. She attended Marymount University, where she pursued a degree in Fashion Merchandising, but art has always been at the center of her heart. A long-time dream of hers is to be a Teacher of the Arts. Her realm of artistry extends off the canvas and encompasses colored pencil work, custom tattoo design, and freelancing. It is Krysten's firm belief that the world of creativity is a valuable tool that releases the stress of this thing we call life. Lilly

Lilly grew up in Hudson Valley, New York, and is new to Virginia! Lilly has created art for as long as she can remember, and it has always been her passion. She enjoys using a variety of mediums to express herself, such as photography, painting, and drawing. In her free time, she loves exploring nature, going to the beach, working on her photography, or just curling up at home to relax! Now, as an artist at Painting with a Twist, she is very excited to show everyone that they too, can create beautiful art!

Shayna

Say hi to Shayna! She is a Virginia native who has many interests, such as trying new eateries, dog training, animal health and nutrition, poetry, dancing, do-it-yourself (DIY) projects, and an art of all mediums. She has one fur baby named Roxy, featured on the canvas in her mom’s profile picture, and a turtle named Mrs. T. She is a huge advocate for animal rights and education. She has a degree in business and one day hopes to combine her various interests into a business of her own. Shayna’s love and passion for art started at a young age while in Exceled art classes in school, dancing and helping to choreograph routines for her praise dance group. Once Shayna had the chance to dance with the cast of Wicked with her Academy of Dance family. Now, she joins the Painting With A Twist family to share what makes her world bright and colorful with all of you. So come and have fun with Shayna and let your stress, Van Gogh!

Tina

Meet Tina. She has an associate degree in fine arts, and she has been drawing, painting, and coloring for as long as she can remember. She enjoys crafting, sculpting, and costuming. She also has two sons. Tina loves to have fun. She once spent the night in the parking lot of Walt Disney World to meet the actors from the Star Wars movie. Her favorite TV show is Game of Thrones. When she grows up, she wants to be a makeup artist, and turn people into aliens and zombies. She likes listening to Prince, Jill Scott, Sade, New Edition, and Morris Day and the Time. Tina grew up in the 80's, and may still be stuck there watching MTV videos. Tina loves to travel, and Egypt is her dream destination. If you see her bopping her head in the car, she is probably listening to Disney music or movie soundtracks. Tina is ready to paint and have some fun!
