Our Greensburg, PA Painting with a Twist Artists

Judy

Judy

Growing up in Pittsburgh, Judy was always looking for things to create and paint. Discovering so many different crafts and artwork, she decided she wanted to be an artist. But, as a single Mom she spent 30 years working in the insurance industry as a Corporate Insurance Broker helping growing businesses protect their most valuable assets. During that time, she remained involved with art, as a teacher of stained glass and folk art painting. When her Daughter introduced her to Painting With A Twist, she realized that the concept of bringing Family and Friends together through the tool of painting was something she was determined to bring to her community as a gathering place for people of all ages to paint, drink wine, relax, and just have fun. That is how Painting With A Twist of Greensburg was born.

Romy

Romy Stanley was born in Colorado in 1999 and lived there until she was 20. At a very young age she started drawing, coloring and painting under the guidance of her father, a very talented artist. Her interest in art never faded and she began to gain interest in a new type of art, special makeup effects. She began teaching herself how to do makeup while in her freshman year of high school but never had any formal training until she was in Community College in 2018 studying Technical Theater. In 2020 Romy moved to Monessen, PA to attend Douglas Education Center and further her career in the movie makeup industry. Now she gets to work with people every day and teach them like her dad taught her.
