Angela

Angela is a 30 year old Colorado native and mother to 3 boys. She went to school to be a high school English teacher and taught for several years before taking a step back to spend more time with her kids. She has an intense passion for working with people and the written word; she is a huge book worm and will read anything she can get her hands on! Angela has always had a passion for art and in recent years has taken up painting as a hobby and form of therapy; she believes art genuinely soothes the soul and heals the mind. She is new to the Painting with a Twist team and is eager to brighten people’s lives with art’s revitalizing and imaginative nature!

Princess Leia

Leah Tschumper a.k.a Princess Leia is an artist from Colorado who is working towards becoming a grade school art teacher. She is currently studying to get a BFA in Art Education at Metro State University. She also works at a local school in the before and after care, and has a passion for inspiring creativity within children. In her free time she enjoys drawing realistic portraits using primarily graphite and charcoal, and also enjoys testing out new mediums. She has made a few commission pieces including one for the Elbert County Fire Department and hopes to continue to sell her art. She is excited to be joining the team at Painting with a Twist!
