I am a wife and a mom to two amazing teenagers. If you can't find me in the studio - I am at a WSW activity - cheering on the band with my son, watching my daughter perform in a play or musical, or on the softball diamonds at Sunshine. I have been drawing or painting as long as I can remember... my grandma would bring me to the kitchen table and ask me how many kinds of hats or flowers I could draw. I found a real love for art at a young age and continued on with art majors in high school and college. I enjoy giving back in my community and often foster homeless dogs. I love to travel and embrace myself in the beauty of the world. I am a Disney Fanatic. I am beyond excited to bring my love of the beautiful to the gals (and guys) who love wine and fun nights out!

Eliza

My PWAT family calls me Eliza! I am passionate about art, design and all creative pursuits. I paint, draw, illustrate, and love music. I was born in a very small town, which inspired my love of nature. In my free time I hike, ski, swim, camp and anything that puts me in the middle of the woods. I moved to Buffalo 5 years ago to pursue a B.F.A. in Communication Design and I graduated from Buffalo State College in May, 2015. Upon obtaining my degree, I’ve been able to work with numerous clients as a freelancer to design logos, business cards, websites and more. I am excited to join the Painting with a Twist family for many reasons including working in a hands on environment as opposed to a digital one. Most importantly I am excited to share my love of painting and introduce people to new a creative outlet they can use to express themselves and create beautiful works of art!

Hi! My name is Janee! I was born and raised in Buffalo and, from a young age I knew I wanted to be an artist! I am so thrilled to have been able to carry that dream into a reality.I graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a degree is visual arts and new media, with a concentration in painting and drawing. With this degree I had the opportunity to studio how making art affects the brain and assists in the healing process for when people when use art as an outlet. My pursuit to to help people take a break from life and enjoy some time in the art world. (A glass of wine cant hurt,either!) I love laughing, traveling, music and wine. I hope after taking a class with me, you leave with a smile on your face and a painting you love!

Malinda

Art is my passion. I’ve loved to draw and paint ever since I can remember. I wanted art to last all day, not just a class period. When I started high school, I made that happen. I started painting and I just couldn’t stop. Every spare moment was spent in the art studio with teachers that pushed me to be who I am today. I am an artist who is fascinated by the human figure, nature, and oil paints. I currently attend Buffalo State College for Art Education, with a minor in Art Therapy. I had such an amazing art experience throughout school and I want nothing more than to give that same experience to others. I have a desire to share my knowledge and passion with all generations. I want to touch lives and be the person that pushes others pursue their own crazy dreams. Creativity is so important and should be carried throughout a lifetime, not just that class period.

Missy

Every since I can remember, art is the only thing I wanted to do. Truly my passion. I took my first painting class my junior year in high school and it was love at first brush stroke. I continued painted at my time at Buffalo State College,where I obtained a degree in art education. In my paintings today, I am inspired by nature and the symphony of colors it brings. Aside from painting, I am also an extreme crafter, knitter, and flair bartender. To put it simply, I make stuff, and I love doing it.

Haleigh

My name is Haleigh Reinhardt. I grew up in Hamburg, NY, with a love for music and art. I always preferred to play classical piano or paint and draw as opposed to playing sports in school. I went to SUNY Fredonia to pursue music as formative training, studying under Fr. Sean Duggan as my piano instructor. However, I never stopped working with art mediums and paints. They just became my go-to hobby. From my bachelors degrees in music business and piano performance, I decided to attend SUNY Buffalo at UB for my masters in music theory. Here, I decided to create my own piano studio and teach children privately while attending school. I received a year of PhD coursework in music theory at UB before deciding to wrap up my college career with a graduate level initial certification program in music education. I just recently completed the degree in June 2018. Currently, I am a general music teacher, working with elementary kids in the city of Niagara Falls. Painting continues to be a fun hobby of mine, which is why I wanted to become a painting instructor part-time. I am so happy to join the Painting With a Twist team!

My name is Melanie. I am a proud cat mother of a fur baby, Joey! I attended Erie Community College where I received my associates degree in Visual Communications/Graphic Arts and Printing. During the day I’m a graphic designer for a jewelry company, and at night I teach here at PWAT! I’ve been creative since the age of 3, when I would use myself and the walls of the house as a canvas! I’ve been creating, drawing, and painting ever since. Art is the best stress reliever and outlet out there. I’m grateful that my passion can also double as my career. I love being a part of the PWAT family! As they say, “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.” When I'm not painting, I enjoy curling up with a good book. I also like to spend time outside looking at the night sky, kayaking, hiking, swimming, fishing, and hunting.
