Hi, my name is Jamie Gonzalez! I'm 21 years old and I'm a mother and a wife! I love art because it has been a part of my life since I was very young - my grandmother started teaching me to paint when I was around the age of 6 and the paint has been running in my blood ever since. After I graduated high school in 2011 I got the opportunity to take a 4 week scholarship trip to the Western Art Academy which was funded through the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. 2 weeks oil painting and 2 weeks sculpting? I couldn't complain! "Hard work pays off!" The best part about being an artist is I get to express myself in any way I want, whether it be with a paintbrush, a pencil, a can of spray paint or even a piece of chalk. I love giving my two boys a paper plate with paint on it and letting them paint the world! I hope to see all of your faces in the studio! Just prepare to have fun! (;
