Q: What precautions are taking regarding COVID-19?
A: Masks are required while inside the studio and we have reduced our seating capacity. We have also added some proactive measures to our cleaning protocol to ensure everyone is safe and can enjoy a carefree painting experience.
- We disinfectant all hard surfaces and door handles between events, this includes seating, brushes, blow dryers and water cups.
- We are stocked with hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap, toilet paper and paper towels.
- We will be seating groups with extra space from other groups.
- We are providing disposable aprons in place of our regular studio aprons.
- Our artists are equipped to provide direction from afar and will be washing their hands often.
Q: What are the prices for a class?
A: Class prices can range from $28-$58 depending upon the length of painting session and surface you choose.
Q: When do you post a next month's calendar?
A: The calendar is posted on the 15th of every month.
Q: Will my painting be dry by the end of the night?
A: Yes, if there are a few damp places, we have hair dryers which will dry them quickly.
Q: At what time should I arrive for class?
A: Arrive 15 minutes before the event time.
Q: Do you do reserved seating?
A: Yes, when making your reservation, add a person's name or group name in the seating request section of your reservation along with any special accomodations.
Q: Will you have wine openers and cups?
A: Yes, we supply wine openers and 9 oz. clear plasic cups.
Q: Can we bring food and drinks?
A: Yes, feel free to bring any easy-to-eat foods along with any beverages you prefer to drink (alcoholic or non-acoholic).
Q: What do I wear?
A: Wear whatever is comfortable and you don't mind if a little paint gets on it. We will have disposable aprons for you to use as well.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: We do require reservations with payment to secure seats in an event. No walk-ins or observers will be permitted due to the limited seating requirements.
Q: Do you do private parties?
A: Yes, we can accommodate private and virtual parties for All Ages. See Party Info
Q: What size is the canvas?
A: We paint on a variety of surfaces; 16"x20" canvas or wood board, 10"x30"canvas, 10"x26" wood board, 17"x17" wood board, 18" MDF pallet and 12"x12" wide profile canvas and wood boards.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Age limits are listed under the event description for each painting on the calendar. There is no age limit for private parties.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: No refunds. A store credit will be given for individuals canceling with at least 24 hours notice prior to the event time. "No shows" will not be issued store credit. Please leave a voice message if calling after hours, 512-710-7928. If you are late to the class you may not be allowed to paint and you will be issued a store credit. Store credits may only be redeemed at this location.
Q: Can I pick my own painting?
A: Private parties will pick their painting from our online gallery (see Party Info). If you don't meet the minimum requirement for a private party, you may select the painting for a public class if the date and time is available. A minimum of 5 reservations is required when selecting a painting for a public class.
Painting with a Twist reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified at least 24 hours prior to class time and refunds will be processed.
