If you haven't reserved your seat at our September Painting with a Purpose event, it isn't too late! Half of all the proceeds from the event will be given to the Literacy Council of Middle Tennessee. This organization offers several programs to benefit children and adults in our community free of charge.
Tutors work in kindergarten through second grade classrooms to support teachers and ensure students build a firm reading foundation. The Literacy Council also provides one-on-one tutoring after school for K-12 students in all academic subject areas. Older students and adults may receive tutoring and assistance in test preparation for HiSET and GED.
